Top Ten... characters that shouldn't have been killed off

For me, killing a character off should be the final straw. If you've come to the point where you feel the best - or the only - option is to kill a character off, then it really should be justified either by an excellent storyline and aftermath or a character whose inability to return in the future wouldn't damage the show.

However, this isn't always the case and EastEnders has on a number of occasions been guilty of deciding to put a permanent end to a character before coming to regret that decision later down the line.

This time on TopTenders, I'm counting down the Top Ten characters that shouldn't have been killed off...
